Ideally, a preliminary in vitro proof of concept with a strong disease rationale and application has been demonstrated.
As the goal of any project funding is to generate intellectual property for licensing into a spinout, freedom to operate from the institution perspective is essential.
Irrespective of how premature your idea may seem, we encourage you to contact your respective Technology Transfer Office (see Contact page) and the beLAB2122 Expert in Residence (EIR), who will be happy to come by to provide constructive feedback and guidance. Should the project pass this preliminary assessment, we will ask you to provide a full project proposal together with the EIR using our dedicated template.
